Are You Normal?

Normal: conforming with or constituting a norm or standard or level or type or social norm; not abnormal.

I thinks it’s funny when someone tells me I’m not normal but then can’t really define what normal is. I’m supposed to be like them? If not, who?  I don’t know. I don’t care.

So for something to be normal it means EVERYONE is doing it, it’s the norm. Yeah, but it must have had a starting point, right? Girls used to wear nothing but dresses, (yeah the previous statement is very funny when I go back and edit it… Obviously they wore underpants you pervert! But for the sake of keeping this funny statement I’ll… well… keep it.) now it’s the norm for everyone to wear some fashion of pants.
I’m sure when that first started it was pretty abnormal wouldn’t you say? So if it was abnormal how come it caught on so quickly and so massively? People everywhere wear pants now.  Something weird and abnormal became the norm and widely accepted and favored. (Dresses are now really only worn to formal dances.)

The definition of what is normal is constantly changing as new ideas are generated by society, and when a new idea starts it’s considered abnormal. So if everything normal is made up of abnormal concepts, why is it wrong to be abnormal?

Rather people should just go all out and say “You don’t like what I like, you’re not just like me, so you suck.” Show your true self-centeredness!Don’t beat around the bush, my little weird readers, you!

  1. I’m not normal !!!!!!!!!!!!
    Woot woot for abnormal people.

  2. You’re right, what’s considered normal is often stated by society. But society is made up of man, so we decide it too. You just have to have power >.>
One of my friends used to think it wasn’t normal if it wasn’t the way she did things. I forget them now, but there were circumstances where I had a ‘weird’ habit and she thought I was the weirdest person she ever met, when actually a lot of my habits and other things, like pronouncing certain words or doing things in a certain way were actually depicted as normal to our mutual friends because they did it the same way I did and she was the one who did things differently.
I just think everyone should accept differences. No one is normal :D

    • Lol Alice, long time no talk, I really want talk to you again! Yus. I need that.
Anyway, yeah. Everything “normal” had to start from somewhere, right?
